About Mick Humphries Training Group

MHTG commenced some 25 years ago in the small township of Griffith with Mick. MHTG is now based in the NSW city of Wagga Wagga and has been transformed into a specialised provider of training & assessing in the transport, construction and resources industry.

MHTG tailors training specifically for those requiring Nationally Recognised & certified High Risk licence training. Companies also seek 'expert advice' from MHTG trainers in relation to the monitoring and developing of Safe operations. MHTG provides professional training for all truck licence classes: LR, MR, HR, HC and MC. We’re proud of our smick and well maintained fleet of trucks which includes four Kenworths. MHTG participate in the annual Riverina Truck show and in 2017 MHTG's Kenworth tipper won 'Best Rigid' in show. Other certified courses delivered by MHTG include: Forklift, Elevating Work Platform, Dogging, Working at Heights, Crane C6, Confined Spaces, Scissor Lift, Boom-Type EWP (under 11m), Chainsaw, Dangerous Goods, White Card, First Aid and Civil Construction – Earthmoving.

MHTG delivers courses 'onsite' or at MHTG's Wagga premises.

MHTG is a member of the Safer Australian Roads Association, (SARAH group) and participate in their annual National Road Safety Week. MHTG trainer's are Australian Driver Training Association (ADTA) members – the representative body of the professional driving instructors. MHTG is affiliated with NatRoads, the National Road Transport Association and with the Australian Trucking Association (ATA). MHTG is also a member of VELG, an Australian Industry leader in Vocational Education and Training. MHTG staff regularly attend industry meetings to maintain their own currency and awareness of new industry requirements and laws such as the Chain of Responsibility regulations that came into effect in October 2018.

MHTG provide training in an easy to learn format, our trainers enjoy sharing their tips and knowledge that they have gained from years of industry experience. Instructing operators in Safety is an MHTG priority.
